At a concentrated source such as a solder joint the extraction has to come close without getting in the operator's way. This 250 mm extraction tip is placed right at the point of release and captures the fume before it reaches the breathing zone. Its conductive polypropylene makes it suitable for ESD protected areas.

Description
Solder fume and solvent vapour are released at a tightly defined point and are captured there with the lowest air volume. The Alsident 1-7525-6 is a 250 mm extraction tip in conductive polypropylene for DN 75 extraction arms that is brought right up to that source.

Applications
Hand soldering and rework on printed circuit boards, dispensing and bonding stations, assembly cleaning and any process with a concentrated source of contamination at ESD protected workplaces.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
Fits Alsident extraction arms of the DN 75 series with a 75 mm connection. Supplied as one extraction tip in black. Extraction arm, base and filter unit are not included.
The conductive material is suited to use in EPA areas according to IEC 61340-5-1.
