A Metal-In shielding bag also screens its contents against electrostatic fields from outside. In the 203 x 406 mm size, the Highshield bag lets less than 10 nJoule reach the interior.

Advantages

• Surface resistance of 10^9 - 10^10 ohm, so the bag does not charge up during handling.
• Heat sealable and therefore usable with a desiccant bag as a moisture barrier.

Application

For shipping, intermediate storage and repair returns of populated boards, memory modules and hard disks that leave the EPA. The bag is heat sealed after filling and is not reclosable. Further sizes in the range run from 76 x 127 mm up to 508 x 609 mm.
