Protective cup rectangular, 18.5 x 24.0 mm, for hot-air rework - JBC P1068

The JBC P1068 is a rectangular protective cup with a 18.5 x 24.0 mm opening for hot-air rework of SMD assemblies. It directs the hot air stream onto the component being desoldered and keeps the heat away from neighbouring parts so they are not damaged during removal.

Applications

Desoldering and replacing SMD components such as QFP, BGA, PLCC and connectors on JBC hot-air rework stations. The cup is positioned over the component; combined with a tripod stand the part can be lifted off cleanly once the solder has reflowed.
