Parts that must neither discharge quickly nor sit on an insulating surface belong in a container within the dissipative range. This tote box is made from Inherently Dissipative Polymer on a polypropylene base and measures 10^9 to 10^10 ohms, well above conductive black boxes.

Application

Inside the EPA the box stores and moves assemblies and small parts wherever a dissipative rather than a conductive container is specified. The red colour also helps to keep material flows apart, for example tested from untested goods or dissipative from conductive handling equipment.
