Dual channel desoldering station 80 W with MX-DS1 gun - Metcal MX-5250
Dual channel desoldering station for plated through-hole components, built from the MX-PS5200 supply and the MX-DS1 desoldering gun. The 80 watts are shared dynamically between both handpieces and the built-in power meter shows how the joint is progressing. Cleaning brushes, filter package and ESD air hose are included.

Description
Through-hole parts only come out cleanly when heat and vacuum work together. The MX-5250 combines the dual channel MX-PS5200 supply with the MX-DS1 desoldering gun for shop air operation.

Applications
Removing through-hole parts from multilayer boards, repair of connector headers and sockets and rework on assemblies where solder must be cleared completely from the barrel.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
Delivery covers the supply, desoldering gun, work stand, cleaning brushes, chamber lining with filter package, tip cleaner, desoldering cable and ESD air hose. The second channel takes an MX system soldering handpiece. Wear parts such as spare chambers and filters are available separately.
The ESD safe design suits workplaces built to IEC 61340-5-1.
