Passing over the scoring groove once can damage sensitive components located close to the scoring groove due to tensile and compressive stresses. Passing over the scribe groove twice with motorized readjustment of the blade distance already minimizes the stresses considerably. The quality of the assembled printed circuit boards is significantly improved.
