The soldering tip C245784 of the C245 series for the JBC T245 soldering iron (formerly AD-2245) has a bevelled, grooved design. The reduced tin surface of the tip helps keep the amount of solder picked up small and controlled, which is an advantage on fine and densely populated joints.
