Moisture trapped inside a barrier bag at the moment of sealing attacks stored assemblies over the following weeks. This desiccant bag binds it inside the pack and stays low in dust, so the granulate never reaches the goods. Each bag holds 2 units (70 g) of desiccant.

Application

Inside the EPA the bag is placed next to the device in the moisture barrier bag before that bag is heat sealed. It is usually combined with a humidity indicator card that can be read on opening. The dose follows the bag volume, the range covers 1/6 unit up to 2 units.
