ESD IDP-STAT tote box, dissipative, yellow, 600 x 400 x 170 mm - Warmbier 5311.Y.34

Not every part belongs on conductive material. Where a slow charge decay is required, the Warmbier 5311 range uses a different plastic. The 5311.Y.34 tote box is made of an inherently dissipative polymer (IDP-STAT) with a typical resistance of 10^9 to 10^10 ohm. The property sits in the polymer, so cleaning and wear do not consume it.

Application

The box moves populated boards, connectors and small parts through assembly, test and storage without ever placing them on insulating plastic. In many EPAs the yellow body also works as the house colour for dissipative material, while the black conductive boxes of the same footprint stay reserved for other content.
