In dust-heavy processes a plain fibre fleece loads up deep inside within a short time. A cartridge of polyester fibre with Teflon coating works as a surface filter instead: the dust stays on the outside and is cleaned off automatically during operation. For the 2Pa units of the ULT 300 series the cartridge filter set is the main filter stage.

Applications

Extraction of dust-laden process air in electronics manufacturing and metalworking, for instance grinding, engraving and polishing as well as laser marking. Wherever a fleece main filter blinds too quickly, the cleanable cartridge filter pays off in service life.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

For the 2Pa main filter module of the ULT 300 series, specifically ASD 300 MD/HD 2Pa (ASD 0300.0-MD.14/MD.16/HD.13.11.4005) and LAS 300 MD/HD 2Pa (LAS 0300.0-MD.14/MD.16/HD.13.11.4005). Cleaning requires a compressed air supply of 4 to 5 bar. Scope of delivery: two filter cartridges. The prefilter module and post-filter modules of the unit are ordered separately.
