Filter mat M5 prefilter set of 10 series 400 - ULT 02.0.029

A clogged prefilter cuts the volume flow and loads the downstream filter stages. This M5 class mat traps coarse dust and aerosols before they reach the filter pack of the 400 series units. Its class corresponds to ISO Coarse 85 percent to ISO 16890.

How it works

In the ACD 400 the change frame with the M5 mat forms the first stage ahead of the two A14 adsorption filter cassettes. In the LRA 400 the M5 and F7 mats work as a pair behind the expanded metal prefilter and ahead of the H13 particulate filter cassette. The depth effect of the mats suits the separation of solder fume particularly well.

Applications

Scheduled filter maintenance on 400 series extraction units in electronics manufacturing, at bonding and coating benches and in solder fume extraction. The interval follows the unit's filter loading indicator and the dust load of the process.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Intended as the dust prefilter in the ACD 400 and as the M5 part of the mat set in the LRA 400. The ASD 400 uses a pocket filter and the LAS 400 a panel filter for prefiltration. Supplied as a set of 10 filter mats, further filter stages are ordered separately.
