Inductive soldering station 40 W 13.56 MHz with SHP-1 handpiece - Thermaltronics TMT-9000S-2

The TMT-9000S-2 is an inductive soldering station for electronics production and repair in which the working temperature is not dialled in at the power unit but defined by the Series M cartridge tip fitted. The 13.56 MHz supply delivers up to 40 W and matches its output to the heat demand of the joint, so no calibration routine is required.

Applications

Hand soldering and rework on populated boards, prototype building and service work on controllers and assemblies with mixed ground planes. Because the tip itself sets the temperature, the station suits production areas where several operators share the same bench equipment and the process temperature has to stay reproducible.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The station accepts Series M cartridge tips, which can be selected freely by geometry and temperature class. Supplied are the TMT-9000PS power unit, the SHP-1 handpiece, the SHH-1 stand, the M7CH176 tip and the accessory set consisting of the RMP-1 protection cloth, the SG-1-GR and SG-1-GY soldering handpieces, the BC-1 brass braid and the SPG-1 sulfide-free sponge.

Tip-to-ground figures below 2 mV and below 2 ohms together with the dissipative surface resistance of the housing make the station suitable for use in EPA areas to IEC 61340-5-1.
