On very small joints a 0.10 mm needle can run short of thermal capacity, while a 0.4 mm tip already touches neighbouring pads. The Thermaltronics TM60C002 fills that gap with a 0.20 mm conical micro fine point on a 13 mm tip. The T cartridge self-regulates at 325-358 °C, so no temperature preset is needed.
