Soldering tip bevelled 45° 3.0 mm T series 325-358 °C - Thermaltronics T60BV030

The bigger the heat sink at a joint, the more contact area the tip has to offer. The T60BV030 uses a 3.0 mm wide bevelled face that transfers enough heat even into copper planes without letting the cartridge temperature collapse. The Curie point of the T series caps the working temperature at 325-358 °C.

Applications

Soldering headers and terminals, ground plane connections, cable lugs and shielding cans, plus drag soldering of wide pad rows. Tinning stranded wire also benefits from the large bevelled face.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Intended for the SHP-T handpiece on the TMT-5000S-1 and TMT-5000S-2 soldering stations. One soldering tip is supplied.
