Sticky flux aerosols blind a fleece prefilter within days. This expanded metal filter works as a metallic impaction structure instead, catches coarse and oily fractions mechanically and can be cleaned rather than thrown away. Where soldering and bonding processes release oily or sticky aerosols, a fleece prefilter clogs after a short time. The ULT 02.0.477 expanded metal filter uses a stretched metal structure instead, on which coarse particles and droplets deposit before the air reaches the main filter stage.

Applications
