The hoods for System 100 AL are made of transparent PETG and aluminum, anodized or powder-coated. The white plastic parts are made of polypropylene (PP). The transparent PETG hoods are resistant to most cleaning agents and can also be cleaned with alcohol. Alsident® System 100 AL extraction arms and hoods are intended for common use without special requirements for discharge capability or chemical resistance. Suitable for light gases and vapors and positions over open containers. With the hood in an angled position, extraction efficiency is increased.
