In areas with aggressive media transparent hoods often fail because the material is attacked. The Alsident 1-10050-7-5 is a Ø500 mm round hood for the DN100 system, made entirely from chemically resistant polypropylene.

Applications

Capture of light gases and vapours above open containers, in laboratory and process areas with aggressive media, at pickling, cleaning and dispensing stations and over work areas where a point extraction tip would cover too small an area.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

For Alsident System 100 extraction arms in nominal size DN100. Delivery comprises hood, flange and tube socket. A protective grille preventing foreign bodies from being sucked in is available as an accessory.
