ESD Kapton polyimide tape UL510 12 mm x 33 m, dissipative

Wave soldering and rework require contact pads, test points and connector rows to be protected from solder and flux. This dissipative polyimide tape in 12 mm width withstands short-term temperatures up to 300 °C and is removed afterwards without leaving residue.

Applications

Masking contact areas, gold fingers, test points and connectors before wave soldering, masking during selective soldering and conformal coating, holding components and thermocouples in place during rework, and temporary insulation in electronics manufacturing.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Supplied as one roll, 12 mm wide and 33 m long, on a Ø 76 mm core. The width fits standard hand-held and bench dispensers. Further widths from 15 mm to 75 mm are available from the same series.

The carrier is dissipative and therefore suitable for use in EPA areas according to IEC 61340-5-1. Flame rating per UL510.
