Reducer 100 mm to 50 mm for extraction ducting - Donaldson Bofa A1020209

Unit spigots and existing hose runs rarely share the same nominal diameter. This BOFA reducer joins a 100 mm connection tightly to a 50 mm duct so the airflow is carried without false air and without a makeshift adaptation.

Benefits

• Defined transition from 100 mm to 50 mm instead of an improvised taped adaptation
• Tight connection prevents false air that would reduce the vacuum at the capture nozzle
• Tapered profile instead of a step, keeping pressure loss across the transition low
• Dimensionally matched to the BOFA hose, ducting and cuff range
• Tool-free assembly with the standard pipe clips and cuffs of the range

Applications

Adapting extraction ducting on solder fume, laser fume and adhesive extraction systems where the unit spigot and the existing hose run have different nominal diameters. Also used when converting existing installations to smaller capture nozzles.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

For BOFA extraction units and accessories with 100 mm and 50 mm nominal diameter. Supplied as a single piece without clips or hose, which are available separately from the BOFA accessory range.
