When a through hole component is removed, the amount of solder pulled out decides whether the part drops free or the plating tears. This Weller manual desoldering pump takes up the molten solder in one stroke and needs neither a mains connection nor compressed air.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

One manual desoldering pump is supplied. Soldering iron, desoldering braid and spare tips are not included. In practice the pump is used together with desoldering braid, because residual solder on pads comes off more cleanly that way.
