Without a divider, SMD reels lean against each other in the compartment and can only be taken out as a stack. This separator of 180 x 180 x 2 mm keeps every reel on its own and is conductive itself, so no insulating surface appears inside the storage compartment.

Application

The separator is used in the SMD component store and at setup stations inside the EPA to divide reel compartments. Conductive aids belong on grounded surfaces there, so that the charge they collect flows to the common ground point.
