Small components on their way through production need a container that opens quickly and still closes securely. This hinged lid box measures 221 x 121 x 55 mm. Lid and box are moulded in one piece and the plastic is permanently volume conductive through carbon loading, with a typical surface resistance of 10^4 - 10^5 ohm.

Technical data

Application

At 221 x 121 x 55 mm the box takes assemblies, connectors, tool inserts and small part ranges. It is used in the EPA for picking, rework and sample handling and fits common drawer cabinets and tote boxes. As the material conducts through its full cross section, edges and inner surfaces stay dissipative as well, which is where coatings tend to wear first.
