Static dissipative polyethylene bags keep assemblies and ESD sensitive components clean and free of charge while they are stored or shipped inside the EPA. This Permastat bag measures 200 x 250 mm with a film thickness of 0.10 mm and stays in the dissipative range with a typical bleeder resistance of 10¹⁰ - 10¹¹ ohms.

Application

The bag holds populated boards, connectors and small parts that wait between two operations or travel to another site. Dissipative bags bleed off charge in a controlled way, and where parts also have to be screened against external fields a metal-in shielding bag is the matching addition.
