Fine stranded conductors lose cross-section as soon as single strands are nicked during stripping. The 12 11 180 insulation stripper therefore works with precision-ground shaped blades adapted to conductors of 0.5 / 1.2 / 1.6 / 2 mm and pulls the insulation off without damaging the conductor.
