Near live parts in a control cabinet or at a meter panel, no bare pliers should come close. The Alligator 88 06 250 carries VDE tested insulation to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 while taking pipes up to Ø 50 mm and nuts up to 46 mm across flats.

The pliers are built to DIN ISO 8976, the insulated handles are VDE tested to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900. According to the manufacturer they contain no substances of very high concern under REACH, the RoHS directive does not apply.
