Cable connectors eye type insulated, yellow, screw diameter 8 mm, 100 pieces - Knipex 97 99 179

Connecting stranded wires to screw terminals and studs calls for a joint that will not work loose under vibration. The closed eye of this cable connector encircles the 8 mm screw completely, so the conductor stays in place even if the screw is slackened. Supplied as a pack of 100 pieces in the yellow colour code.

Benefits

• Closed eye shape, the conductor cannot slip out sideways when the screw is slackened.
• Insulated collar covers the crimp and prevents contact with live parts.
• Yellow colour code, the right size is easy to spot when wiring a terminal strip.
• Pack of 100 pieces, sized for repeat work rather than for a single repair.
• For screws and studs of 8 mm diameter as found on motor terminals and power switches.
• To be processed with crimping pliers for insulated cable connectors.

Applications

Terminal boxes of motors and drives, battery and charging technology, switchgear and distribution boards. Wherever larger connecting studs of 8 mm diameter have to be contacted cleanly.
