Stripping knife with fixed hook blade for round cable, 28 mm blade, VDE insulated, 170 mm - Knipex 98 53 03

Opening the sheath of a round cable must not score the cores underneath. The 98 53 03 stripping knife therefore uses a fixed hook blade of 28 mm length with a 7 mm radius that pulls outwards and tears the sheath open instead of cutting into it blind.

Standards and conformity

The knife is tested to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 for insulated hand tools used for live working. According to the manufacturer it contains no substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply to this product.
