Calculating magnification correctly

Total magnification on a stereo microscope comes from the objective factor, the zoom setting and the eyepiece magnification. The 0.63x factor is only one of these three values. Which total magnification and which field of view result depends on the microscope body and the eyepiece in use.

Applications

Rework and repair on printed circuit boards, incoming and final inspection, assembly of small units, laboratory and training. Wherever work happens under the optics and the view should still cover the whole assembly.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The objective is supplied on its own, without protective glass and without a storage box. It fits microscope bodies of the Leica M series Routine with an M60 objective thread, which includes M50, M60 and M80. Whether an existing protective or supplementary glass fits depends on the outer diameter of 58 mm.
