The SF280 automatic solder feeder only feeds evenly when guide tube and wire match. The GSF16V-B converts the feeder to 1.6 mm solder wire. The built-in perforation scores the wire down to the flux core, so flux flows and outgasses better and solder and flux spatter is avoided.
