Thermocouple measuring pointer for surface temperature up to 300 °C - JBC TCP-A

The set point of a soldering station and the real surface temperature at the joint are two different things. The TCP-A thermocouple pointer closes that gap. It is placed on the board or the component and returns a reading up to 300 °C with an accuracy of ±10 °C, with no hand needed to hold the probe.

What the pointer delivers

• Precise placement even on high-density boards, so less hunting for the measuring spot and shorter set-up time.
• The magnetic base keeps the pointer safely upright, leaving both hands free for the assembly and the tool.
• A measuring range up to 300 °C with an accuracy of ±10 °C covers the usual preheating and soldering profiles.
• Designed for measurement on all types of material, so also on housings, heat sinks and ground planes.
• An overall length of 450 mm keeps the hand away from the hot assembly.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The measuring pointer is supplied on its own. According to the property table no battery is included. A readout instrument for thermocouples is not part of the delivery and is sourced separately.

Standards and compliance

The manufacturer property table does not rate the pointer as ESD safe. Use inside an EPA should therefore be cleared with your own ESD coordinator. The manufacturer is JBC Soldering SL in Spain.
