Cordless soldering iron B500 for B.IRON, 24 W, 100 to 450 °C - JBC B500-B

Larger components and pads tied to ground planes pull heat away, and that is exactly where weak irons give up. The B500 answers with JBC heat management and reaches 350 °C in under 3 seconds. Because it works without a mains lead, it does so wherever the assembly cannot be brought to the bench.

What the iron delivers

• Temperature range 100 to 450 °C at a stability of ±1.5 °C, which keeps soldering profiles on target under changing heat draw.
• Recovery to 350 °C in under 3 seconds thanks to the intelligent JBC heat management.
• Short distance between tip and grip for the control that otherwise only bench tools provide.
• Energy saving mode activated by fitting the cap, which spares both battery and tip during breaks.
• Parameters can be set over Bluetooth from a mobile device using the manufacturer app.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The B500 works with the C210 cartridge range. Soldering tips are not part of the delivery and are chosen separately by geometry. Charging runs through the integrated charger. Anyone without a charging station also needs the B.IRON 500 station.

Standards and compliance

The manufacturer property table does not rate the iron as ESD safe. A battery is not part of the delivery. The manufacturer is JBC Soldering SL in Spain.
