Soldering tip Ø 10 mm for cables and connectors, C470 range for T470 - JBC C470073

When soldering cables, connectors and ground planes, the control loop alone does not decide the result. What matters is the heat the tip carries into the joint. At 10 mm diameter the C470073 belongs to the manufacturer's largest cartridge range and holds temperature even with a lot of copper attached.

What the cartridge delivers

• A tip diameter of 10 mm carries enough mass to the joint so the connection does not cool while solder is fed in.
• The C470 range is the largest in the JBC programme and covers applications with high power demand such as ground plane joints.
• Built for cables and connectors, suitable for THT as well as SMT cable soldering.
• Heater and tip sit in one cartridge, which gives instant heat-up and very direct heat transfer.
• Together with JBC heat management and the sleep functions the manufacturer states up to five times the service life.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The cartridge is intended for the T470 handpiece. One cartridge is supplied on its own, without handpiece and without stand.
