In electronics assembly, every screw must be tightened to the same torque without electrostatic discharge damaging components. The Kraftform 7451 ESD is factory pre-set to the smallest scale value of 0.3 Nm and protects with a surface resistance of ≤ 10⁹ Ohm.

Applications

Standards and safety

The resistance requirements for ESD screwdriving tools are specified in DIN EN 61340-5-1. The chuck is designed for bits to DIN ISO 1173-C 6.3 and E 6.3. Changing the pre-set torque requires a special tool and torque test equipment, please contact the Wera Torque Service.
