When a Phillips screw sits deep in a bore or has to be countersunk flush, a standard bit hits the surface with its shaft. The Wera 851/4 R has a shaft reduced to 3.0 mm over its 152 mm length, so it reaches low-lying PH 2 screws without damaging the surrounding surface.
