In a cordless screwdriver, the bit has to sit firmly and also reach screws that are slightly recessed. The Wera 899/4/1 S universal holder takes 1/4" bits as per DIN ISO 1173-C 6.3, adds 100 mm of length and holds the bit with an extra strong retaining ring and a strong permanent magnet.
