ESD Personnel Test Station Wristlab II ATEX 1 GΩ wall mounted complete - Iteco 9264950.1G

In potentially explosive atmospheres footwear is judged against a different limit than in a classic EPA. The Wristlab II 9264.950.1G is built for exactly that case: it is the ATEX compliant wall version of the personnel test station and measures the dissipative resistance of the shoes against a fixed upper limit of 1 GΩ.

Difference to the standard 9264.950

• Footwear high limit fixed at 1 GΩ, no switching to 10 to 200 MΩ
• High resistance ATEX rated soles are therefore rated as pass
• Wrist strap test unchanged at 750 kΩ to 35 MΩ to IEC 61340-5-1
• Left and right shoe measured separately at 50 V or 100 V
• Relay contact for releasing access to the EPA

Four operating modes

• Simultaneous measurement of wrist strap and footwear in a single test
• Wrist strap only, for operators seated at the workstation
• Footwear only, for visitors without a wrist strap
• HandsFree: if both shoes pass the series measurement, the internal relay switches and releases the access gate to the EPA

Applications

Access control to areas where an explosive atmosphere has to be considered next to the ESD requirement, for example in paint processing, in chemical plants or in the assembly of pyrotechnic devices.

Accessories and compatibility

The stand 9264.953 and the dual footplate 9264.965 fit without changes. If only the instrument is needed in the ATEX version it is available separately as 9264.960.1G. Recalibration is covered by 9264.955.

The order code is completed with a language letter (I, F, E, D, H, S). This version is supplied with the English instruction panel.
