At an EPA workstation no tool may interrupt charge dissipation. The Electronic Super Knips XL 78 03 140 ESD is designed for workplaces to DIN EN 61 340-5 and still cuts wires lying flat against a surface from 0.2 mm dia. as precisely as the standard version.

The pliers are declared as an ESD tool to DIN EN 61 340-5. According to the manufacturer they contain no substances of very high concern under REACH, the RoHS directive does not apply.
