Metal-In ESD shielding bag, heat-sealable, 152 x 305 mm

This Metal-In shielding bag in 152 x 305 mm (width x height) protects long slide-in cards and PCBs against external electrostatic fields and discharges. The aluminium layer is embedded between PET and PE and forms a Faraday cage around the contents. The metallisation is therefore protected from abrasion, while the film stays transparent enough to check contents and labels without opening the bag.

• Heat-sealable: the PE inner side can be closed tightly with a film sealer.

Applications

The long format is intended for slide-in cards, backplane sections, long PCBs and assemblies with an attached cable. Elongated parts such as display strips or sensor bars also fit without bending. The bag is also available in other formats.
