Metal-In ESD shielding bag, heat-sealable, 203 x 254 mm

This Metal-In shielding bag in 203 x 254 mm (width x height) protects populated PCBs and assemblies against external electrostatic fields and discharges. The aluminium layer is embedded between PET and PE and forms a Faraday cage around the contents. The metallisation is therefore protected from abrasion, while the film stays transparent enough to check contents and labels without opening the bag.

Benefits

• Heat-sealable: the PE inner side can be closed tightly with a film sealer.

Applications

The wider format takes medium-sized populated PCBs, controller boards and assemblies with heat sinks or connectors. It is used for shipments to customers, for field returns and for work-in-progress storage in production. The bag is also available in other formats.
