SCS ESD shielding and moisture barrier bag, 254 x 508 mm, film thickness 0.107 mm - Desco D371020

Electronics that are sensitive to both moisture and ESD need two kinds of protection at once: a barrier against water vapour and a Faraday cage against external discharges. This moisture barrier bag in 254 x 508 mm combines both in a silver multilayer film, 0.1067 mm thick, with a defined water vapour transmission rate. The format is twice as long as it is wide and leaves room for cards with front panels or connectors.

Applications

Suited to longer PCBs, plug-in cards and assembly carriers, for example rack plug-in cards, long control boards and assemblies with attached cables or connectors. The bag protects the contents outside the ESD protected area as well, in storage and in transit.
