Moisture sensitive SMDs need dry packing and protection from electrostatic discharge at the same time. The Dri-Shield 2000 bag provides both: the laminate of multiple layers of aluminised polyester and polyethylene keeps moisture vapour transmission below 0.035 g/100 in² per 24 hours and lets less than 10 nJ of energy through during a discharge. The 455 x 455 mm format also takes larger assemblies and tray stacks.

Applications

For dry packing MSL components, PCBs and assemblies together with desiccant and a humidity indicator card, inside and outside the EPA. Store bags dry and well ventilated at about 24 °C away from direct sunlight, and discard damaged bags.
