ESD shielding and moisture barrier bag PET/MET/PE, 355 x 762 mm

This 355 x 762 mm bag combines two protective functions. The metallised middle layer shields against electrostatic discharge with a shielding energy below 10 nJ, while the PET/MET/PE laminate forms a barrier against water vapour. This lets you pack long, narrow parts such as backplanes, LED strips and elongated PCBs dry and ESD-safe.

Applications

The long, narrow 355 x 762 mm format is intended for parts that do not fit in squarer bags: backplanes, LED strips, elongated PCBs and assemblies with an attached cable. The bag is used for shipping and storing moisture-sensitive electronics, normally together with desiccant and a humidity indicator card, then vacuum packed or sealed.
