ESD shielding and moisture barrier bag PET/MET/PE, 406 x 609 mm

This 406 x 609 mm bag combines two protective functions. The metallised middle layer shields against electrostatic discharge with a shielding energy below 10 nJ, while the PET/MET/PE laminate forms a barrier against water vapour. This lets you pack large-format assemblies such as server mainboards, backplanes and card cages dry and ESD-safe.

Applications

The 406 x 609 mm format is intended for large-format assemblies, for example server mainboards, backplanes or complete card cages. Several PCBs with interleaving sheets can also be packed together. The bag serves for shipping and storing moisture-sensitive electronics and is usually filled with desiccant and a humidity indicator card, then vacuum packed or sealed directly.
