Clay desiccant bag, dissipative coating, 2 g

A few grams of moisture trapped in a sealed component pack are enough to oxidise contacts or damage moisture-sensitive devices during soldering. This desiccant bag holds 2 g of clay and suits small packs where a larger bag would not fit.

Applications

The 2 g fill suits single ICs, modules, sensors and small bags holding a few components, for example when picking spare parts or returning samples. The pack of 2,000 pieces also covers high volumes in production. How much desiccant a pack needs depends on its volume, the barrier film and the planned storage time.
