Humidity Indicator Card 5/10/15 % RH per J-STD-033, Can of 125 - Desco 90664

Moisture-sensitive devices such as BGAs and ICs are stored with desiccant in moisture barrier bags. The humidity indicator card shows whether that package stayed sealed: its three spots turn from blue to pink when 5, 10 or 15 % relative humidity is exceeded, and humidity is read at the lavender spot.

Applications

Dry packing of MSL components per J-STD-033 together with moisture barrier bag and desiccant. The highest spot must be blue before use. Store cards in the sealed can with desiccant, cool, dry and out of direct sunlight, as ammonia damages the indicator. Discoloured cards return to blue in a sealed container with 33 g of desiccant within four hours.
