Humidity Indicator Cards, 4 Spots, Can of 100 - Desco 4HIC100

Moisture sensitive parts such as SMD ICs are packed in moisture barrier bags with desiccant. When the bag is opened, it must be clear at a glance whether the contents stayed dry. These humidity indicator cards show the relative humidity the package was exposed to using 4 spots: each spot changes from blue to pink once its level is exceeded.

Key benefits

• Blue to pink colour change, readable instantly without an instrument
• 4 indicator spots for a graded humidity assessment
• Complies with EIA 581, MIL-P-116, MIL-I-8835
• Pre-punched holes at top and bottom for fixing
• Can of 100 protects the cards from ambient humidity until use
• Lead-free, RoHS 2 compliant, can be shipped with RoHS compliant products

Applications

Humidity monitoring in dry packs for moisture sensitive devices (MSD) together with moisture barrier bags and desiccant, at goods-in, in the SMD store and before placement.

Standards

Complies with EIA 581, MIL-P-116, MIL-I-8835.
