Profiled foam pink dissipative 10E7 to 10E11 ohm, 20 mm high, insert 05-TVS - A1-ESD EP0704100

A carton on its own does not make ESD-compliant packaging, what matters is the material touching the component. This profiled foam sits in the dissipative range at approximately 10E7 to 10E11 ohm and drains charges slowly instead of releasing them abruptly or storing them like an insulator.

Application

The insert is used wherever electrostatic sensitive devices leave the EPA and the packaging has to be demonstrably ESD compliant. It complements shielding bags and conductive cartons as the inner cushioning layer. During internal transport it takes on the same task between assembly, test and store.
