Convoluted foam pad, dissipative pink, 20 mm, for 05-TVS shipping box - A1-ESD EP0704102

When a single assembly leaves the EPA, the insert decides whether the part arrives mechanically intact and electrostatically protected. This pink convoluted foam pad works in the dissipative range of approx. 10E7 to 10E11 ohms, so charge drains slowly and without a spark discharge. At 20 mm height it fills the Cortronic 05-TVS shipping box with its box size of 100 x 55 mm.

Application

Intended for single shipments out of production, prototyping and repair, for example when a populated board, a sensor or a connector goes to a customer or to a test lab. The pad serves as bottom and lid cushioning, the part sits in between and needs no additional fixing material. Inside the EPA the box can be packed directly at the workstation without breaking the protection chain.
