Part reels that have been opened, leftovers from the placement machine and single components from rework all need a place that endangers them neither mechanically nor electrostatically. The N1 hinged box holds these small quantities in an internal space of 16 x 12 x 15 mm and is made from dissipative plastic that lets charge drain in a controlled way. Base and lid are red, and the lid stays attached to the box through its hinge.

Application

The boxes are used at placement for feeder leftovers, in prototyping for counted components and in the store as a compartment for tiny quantities that get lost in a bag. They line up in an SMD rack or a drawer insert, and the hinged lid allows removal without a free second hand. Inside the EPA the dissipative material stays part of the protection chain, outside it the closed lid guards against dust and loss.
