Flat packages such as strips, elongated housings and single board sections sit restlessly in a tall box and knock against each other. Size N2 is cut differently for that reason. Its internal space measures 37 x 12 x 5 mm, long and shallow, so the part rests along its full length. The plastic is dissipative, and base and lid of this version are yellow.

Technical data

Application

The flat format is used for elongated components, for counted leftovers from the tape and for small parts held briefly during testing and rework. In SMD racks and drawer inserts the low height shows, because more boxes fit on each level. Inside the EPA the dissipative material remains part of the protection chain, outside it the closed lid keeps dust and moisture away from the components.
